Península Mitre — Travesía Costera Atlántica
One of the most remote and wild treks in the world. From Cabo San Pablo, it follows the wild Atlantic coast of Península Mitre westward, crossing bridgeless rivers, extensive peat bogs, subantarctic forest, and Atlantic-battered coastline. No marked trail, no infrastructure, no cell coverage. Requires GPS navigation, cross-country experience, full self-sufficiency, and the ability to ford rivers in flood. The endpoint at Bahía Aguirre can be evacuated by kayak or boat with prior coordination.
